Default Side Markers Broke!

Hey
(sry if repost...) ***oops, move me plzz if im in the wrong topic

okay heres my sad exp today.

I wanted to take out the side markers just to see how its done. Well i heard its really easy to "slide it out" so i didnt expect anythin weird. WELL i try sliding it but it didnt simply slide out... SO i pushed it in on one side a lil bit and i saw that side snap out so i thought it was goin to come out easily after that so i pulled/slided it out and SNAP i heard sumthin break and it dropped down to the bottom
Anyways i found that piece and i found it was the lil hook thing on the light snapped in half. I super glued it back and put it back in. Its not as tight but it will do. ANYWAYS, i became curious on how u REALLY take it out so curious me tried the other side and it broke TOO!!!! !!!! WTF?!?! i barely put ANY force at ALL!! well i super glued that one too and snapped it back. seems like they okay for now. Is the plastic REALLLY that weak?!?! i seriously didnt use ANY force at ALL and it broke! WTFFF. is it cuz the plastic is old or watever? . so how DO u take it out without breaking it? Any of you exp this?

well i juss ordered sum clear side markers on ebay!! hope i dunt break that one puttin it in. -_-;

Yeh mine were a bitch to get out at first. You had to really tug on it after you pulled.

slide the sidemarkers towards the front end of the car - it will only move slightly...then use some dental floss and slide it from the rear side of the marker between the marker and the fender. you only need gentle pressure on the floss to pull at the clip holding it in.

do it right and the marker should almost fall into your hand (apart from the fact its supported by the bulb harness )

this really isnt rocket science and shouldnt involve broken clips or broken nails. should take no more than 5 mins to replace both sides.

good luck!
