Along the lines of why... I just find it odd that Honda would migrate to a different shade of yellow, but not bring in MC blue to the US market.

It is simply impossible to guess their justifications.

Like many of you, I like the MY 00-03 front better but I wouln't mind having MY 04 rear bumper. Guess that'll all depend on the cost and ease of installation of the rear.

I am no color expert, but the two yellows look identical to me. If it wasn't for the 04 changes I don't think I can tell two apart. Or maybe it's only in pictures that they look the same. In real life, the different color of shade would be more obvious?

The rear bumper appears to be getting two big thumbs up from most people here. I tend to agree that it does look better (well, at least a fresher look) but these cosmetic changes are not worth going to all the trouble of updating my older model S, IMHO.

Thanks for posting a side by side. When I took my pics the other day I didn't get the chance to have them side by side. Now I really can tell Rio is darker. Before I just thought it was the pearl content.

Now seeing an 00-03 next to an 04 I think the pre-04' is more sleek and elegant looking, where the 04 is more aggressive and brute force looking. I like the 04, but I think I like my 02 more.

I really like the older back better than the new one, the new reminds me of the wide body kit from vielside, which i hate....

The light on the older models are nicer to, there is no oranger blinker.... the front headlights on the 04 are alot nicer ....
