Default Side Strake Hardware

Hey board
I have recently picked up used side strakes that are missing the hardware.
I was wondering if anyone know where to order it.
I have contacted HTG but no reply.
Also does anyone have the link to install instructions?
Thanks guys

Honda does not sell all of the hardware necessary to instal them. They sell some of it, just not all of it. I know this because I purchased a set from another site member and when I contacted a Honda dealer they said they don't sell all of the parts as individual items, nor do they sell them as install kits. I even had the body shop that was going to install them for me check with the same results.

I am working on trying to figure out a differant way to install them.

If you happen to find a source for all the parts would you mind please letting me know.

You cannot get the hardware seperately.
Email me for the install instructions.
Do you have any suggestions on how to install them without the hardware?

Don't bother with the install hardware. You have to drill holes in the body of the car and they are only held on by plastic clips and a few screws! I suggest using a double sided molding tape that you can get at any auto store. It will hold on better and if you ever take them off for any reason, there won't be any holes in the body!

Mine were installed by the dealer when the car was new, but I kept having problems with them working their way loose after a while. So I just decided to use the body molding tape, and I have not had any issues since!

I'd avoid the "correct" way of installing at all costs because of that hole you have to drill in the side of your car. 3M tape and a couple of screws on the inside panel right in front of the tire and you're done.

Based on what you guys are saying about using double sided tape, there would be no need for the black rubber backing.

So to install them just use 2 screws that go into the fender lip and double sided tape for the part that actually fits along the lower part of the fender. If that is all that has to be done it sounds like a 6 pack, telling my wife it will probably take a major part of the afternoon where in fact we might be looking at an hout at best. So the rest of the time I can sit back drink my beer and smoke a good cigar and admire my good work.

If I am correct please let me know and if not than tell me where I would be going wrong.
