On the sidelines for a while
Just returned from a couple of days in the hospital necessitated by receiving back surgery, and my S2K pleasures will be vicarious for a couple of weeks or more. If I can't drive for a while, I can at least get my 'fix' by dropping in at s2ki.com frequently, and reading what my 8000+ fellow members are up to. I look forward to shuffling up to the keyboard and seeing all the comments here, most of which bring a smile to my face as I recover. In signing off, may I add:
1. My personal S2000 remains, at 4500 miles, without problem except for that slight 2-3 gear notchiness. She will stay safely garaged until I can wiggle my repaired lumar vertebra into her nice black leather seats, which show no signs of premature wear.
2. No complaints about lack of torque from this owner. Downshift when necessary, and accept the fact that the S2000 is no ball of fire the first few carlengths in first gear. Those #%&! threads on lack of torque cause my post surgical pain to flare up.
Now I must check to see if we yet have 9000 members. Perhaps there should be a special ceremony when our member list reaches redline!!

Joe,
Hope your recovery is swift and you are soon crusin' again. I had knee surgery, the 10th of May on the left knee
, and so am just getting back in the car. Being on this site helped pass the time. I intend to subscribe and hope many of those other members decide to do so as well.
