Yeah, it happens to all of us. I was absolutely devastated the day I got my first dent, but Ive come to terms with it since, especially since the car is daily driven. Its just a part of the life a Daily Driven car must endure. Don't feel too bad though. Cars are a creation of man, and there isn't anything on a car that cant either be repaired replaced or improved in that process! I plan on touching up all the cosmetic imperfections on my S after the car has been paid off.

On a side note, if something like that happened to a car that wasn't daily driven, say an Audi R8... wow...

Could always be worse

I managed to keep my car CLEAN for the first three years of it's life, but lately it seems I've been getting a shitload of little things happening to the car.

Take it to the body shop and have it fixed. Minor damage equals a minor bill. In and out of the shop in one day might be possible and will do much at relieving the stress yor feeling now.

OE side skirts?

Side strakes go in front of the rear wheels, not behind the front wheels.

I don't think OEM side skirts exist

Depending on your temperment, you could decide to live with it a few months. This will give you enough time to accumulate a few more scratches and dings which you can now have repaired all at once. I had a rock chip in the first 5000 mile right below the hood emblem. It sort of bothered me at first then (after a period of time, I got use to it. Anyone who saw this chip would have mistaken it for a bug splat. A week ago, I backed into my vinyl trash can gouging an ugly scar and paint removal in the driverside rear bumper. This is more than I could live with so I had ALL this repaired at the same time. My car now looks as good as the day I bought it. Personally ,I'm now glad I waited on the front chip.
This was my perspective and it could be yours. If not Have the repair done immediatly.
