cause last time i checked, clutch fluid is brake fluid, it just goes in a different place. my guess is that the mech said, " ya we can do his clutch fluid, its just DOT 3 brake fluid." and the dumb arse up front took that to mean that brake fluid and clutch fluid are the same thing.

confusing, but if you use your imagination, my post might make sence?

Does it not make sense that if any of us had a job at a dealership, no matter the position, we would make an effort to become 'expert' about every vehicle in line.
I mean what if a doctor, banker and even an ice cream shop clerk knew nothing about their products/

How can this be acceptable to the dealership owner?

This is an industry that needs a serious makeover!

By your logic the receptionist at the Dr's office should have went through med school.

That really doesn't make much sense. You are saying that the receptionist at the dealership should know how to do everything to a vehicle?? If that was the case she/he should be a mechanic not a receptionist. I'm sure the receptionist is proficient in their job ie pushing paper, answering phones, door greeter, and computer work. That is their job, they don't need to know the ins and outs of mechanics.
