Silver Clearly Best Color!
The real question is Silver with Black or Silver with Red?
When the S2K came out in 1999 I purchased one of each. Unfortunately I failed to tell my wife before I brought both of them home.
Needless to say I wanted to keep the Silver / Red. Since my wife couldn't be convinced that two is always better than one, we had to sell one. You can only guess which color is still in the garage!

Wow, disappointing that so many of my red brethren are not responding to this challenge of our collective manhoods
. All you silver owners (and the others too) need to get past the denial. You know what they say: The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem.
Just take solace in knowing that like the Bodywerks S2K, yours can change colors too, although he should have chose red
. Yours can be red just like you REALLY want it to be.

Thanks Shaner. Perhaps many red owners don't have to tell others red is best, because for themselves, they know it is the best color for themselves and are pleased when they look at their cars. Silver is nice, but for me, red is it!
I'm with Song on this one. Different colors are for different things.
Red - Ferrariwanabe
Silver - Porschewanabe
White - Traditional Japanese racing color
Blue - Very classy
Yellow - Very trendy
Black - Timeless
Also, my blk/blk is faster because the tires I have are those "new" tires that match the color of my car.

My opinions...
Silver - ok.. but plain.. classic, but not exhilerating, or deomstrating the sports car inside.
White - Great color, too bad they're so rare and only came with red leather.
Red - looks inexspensive and small.. I often mistake them for a Miata... however it is one of the cleanest colors for the lines of the car.. I generally hate red, but on the s2k it fits very well
Black - mean, agreessive, sleek.. obviously the ONLY choice for a true sports car (it's like pitting a silver NSX next to a Black one.. come on, no brain is needed)
Yellow - You like attention eh? Maybe we should put a big wing and a Type R sticker on it too
Of course I love all of them.. but if we're gonna flame don't leave me out =)

Let's face it, "silver" isn't really silver colored like you'd find on silver, polished aluminum, etc. It's merely a grey with sparkles. Without the proper lighting, it looks plainly dull. And yes, I have seen quite a few silver S2000s.
Red is the color of bold, passion, speed, with maturity.
Need I say more?
