If you're going to add blingin' rims and all that accessory stuff, go for the silver. Yellow is already over-the-top. Add rims and the like... you are in rice territory.

If you're 18 and under, do whatever the hell you want!

'Avalookatdis!!!!

Yellow is a smack you down, hit you in the face color! It has a red pearl flakes in the paint, so it's not a solid yellow. I love it - and it's the only new color for 2001, so it's even more rare. If you like being the center of attention...then this is the color for you my friend! You wouldn't believe the amount of positive looks, tooted horns, engines revved, lights flashed I get with this car.

People just love it!

In Silverstone's defense, it is a great color. Some people that have silver complain about people not seeing them and nearly running them off the road. No such problems with yellow!

BTW, yellow C5 Corvettes have the highest resale value. I hope it holds true with yellow S2000's.

You'll love the car with whatever color you buy!

Cheers,

Unlike the ahole before you, you seem to be much more mature, i might be 20 going to 21 in a couple of months but i keep it on da level...Dont know how old he is but i do know lots of older owners that are pissed off when a kid, making less than 20k a yr can buy what they drive,,, thanks for your replies, it true yellow is hot which is why the sudden second thoughts, i guess i will give my dealer a call to see when is their next yellow which i beleive it will be before the silver, in ny you can have an invisble car and you would be noticed, cause street racing is common, when i ask for the s2k i was thinking may or late apr cause this way i get the 4k i need to in two months time maybe slap that comptech sc on it and the rm exhaust, and most probably leave it at that for the exception of rims and both honda front and rear wing. Does anyone think white rims on the s2k in 18 just for show on weekends is over the top? thanks you guys for your replies!

Hey, I like having younger owners on this board. The mix of ages of owners it what makes this fun. If we were all a bunch of fuddy-duds like Barry and me this thing would be a bore .
