Compact and efficient, the DOHC cam-drive system uses a silent primary chain with automatic adjustment, The secondary drive is geared, as in a racing engine, for dependability and greater timing accuracy at high RPM. (Courtesy pg 9 of 2001 S2000 booklet)

So I guess you just don't have to worry about it

A couple of things I hadn't noticed before, which were a surprise:

You only change the oil filter for the first time at 15,000. I thought you normally do this at every oil change.

The first time you touch the air filter is when you change it at 30,000/2 years. (I'm shocked!)

Schedule B says to check the parking brake adjustment; it should be 9 to 13 clicks! Mine's at 9 and the handbrake is already at 60 degrees. (I'd actually prefer it to be set at 4 or 5.) Seems like if you get to 13 clicks, the handbrake will be at about 80 degrees, which means you'd have a pretty slack brake cable.

At least this schedule seems to indicate that all maintenance up to 105,000 can be done by the DIY enthusiast, so you don't need to be gouged by the dealer for having them do it.
