10 years only, hmm, i didn't know that, i wonder what people who collect antiques do to restore their cars. Custom fabrication? I guess that must be one reason the collectible car hobby must be so expensive.
yup, we build our parts for the antiques and yes its expensive. I am lucky that the club made 10 crankshafts so I can get one for only $3,500 plus shipping and final machining, I wont be out more the $4,000. Luckily I did not need a new block that puppy is $9,300 plus shipping and machining.
Most of the parts I do myself its called a hobby and I like being in the garage. If I can keep a old 1934 British race car on the road, I don't think I will worry about when Honda stops making parts.
