Default Skunk2 Racing Cams?

I was just told by a parts supplier I deal with that they are getting in next week a set of skunk2 cams for the s2000, stage 2 and 3 ?

apparently they said the stage 2 will give 15 whp ? and makes the car sound completely different.

Can anyone validate these cams and if they are worth it ? also would they work well with the toda valve springs I have, and should they be matched with Ti retainers?...

I would be interested to know as well.

People have been straying away from AP1 cams (maybe scared of Toda's mishaps), but I definitely see more vendor interest with AP2... After all AP2 has a lower redline than an Integra Type R which they make millions of cams for.

hmm, just went to their website...cheaper than Toda, but more than Brian Crower...and they don't give any specs on them

I'll be getting a set of stage 2 cams from Brian Crower when they release them.

You have to run AEM EMS for stage 3 I'm sure, dunno a/b stage 2. VERY aggressive cams and I had access to 1 of 6 sets that were made months ago but couldn't afford them at the time. I can't wait for them to come out!

Question, how are Skunk2 products in general for the s2000?

I don't know anybody that is using any of there products?

I see that they have lots of stuff for the S and good prices. But, quality over price should always be upheld. With that in mind, are their products any good???

He didn't say, but I'd expect 15-20 with a decent gain through the entire range with those #'s. They will be one of my next mods, once they come out.

I don't really think "people have been staying away from AP1 cams", all of the fastest NA S2000s in the world are running different cams. The highest-horsepower NA S2000 in the United States is running Toda cams, so I wouldn't dismiss them on an AP1 just yet....
