Default Slashed Top

Heres what I woke up to today

Luckily they didnt take anything. Something must have scared them off. I have seat locks too, but they didnt even move the seats. Took all the stuff out of my glove compartment and threw it on my seat then took off.

Anyway... I need either a new soft top or hardtop.

Any ideas on where to find deals on either? I live in SoCal. I remember seeing a dealer around here that was selling hardtops for about $2400. Also want a used soft top if anyone has one.

I prefer to keep a soft top and drive with the top down, but thats pointless if it just keeps getting slashed by these idiots.

That sucks balls man. Sorry to hear about it. I'm not sure about the price of 2400 for a oem new hardtop. I think that is about dealer cost unless that dealer is selling them for cost then who knows. Soft top is a great option but ppl can't slash a HT.

You can get a Mugen style hardtop for that much or less.

Get a hardtop, thats the only way you'll ever get peace of mind when you leave the s2k park somewhere. More likely these theifts fail in there 1st attempt, they know where they can find your car and will try again. Replace the soft top later, hardtop is the best investment if you plan to keep the car for awhile.

The dirt is the finger print powder from the cops. They got a few prints so hopefully they'll be able to catch these idiots. It sucks that its in a supposedly gated apartment complex. Last week I had 2 of our bikes stolen. Pretty lame security.

my god, so painful to see

thats alot of vicious cutting MOFOS in southern cali (got my top slashed in the past, but just a small square)

I had to replace it, but was super lucky and found a top installed from a used parts place for $500.

yeah... i dont think they knew wth they were doing thats why they had to slash it so many times to get to the door. Probably some dumb a$$ kids Fn around. They didnt take a thing. Left $200 sunglasses and $100 jawbone in the car. Probably looking for crack or something.
