I was hearing a slight buzzing, grinding type sound every time i would give the car heavy throttle between 3700 and 4000. The noise started right at 3700 and would end at 4000. It made the noise in every gear, except i could not really tell in first. I noticed this at lunch today. When I drove home the car was still making the noise, until about half way home, it stopped. Any ideas?

 

One idea..... take it to the dealer. I wouldn't even be lifting the hood of my car if it had that many miles(except for maintenance).
