Question Slight Rubbing From Rear Tires

Hello,

Recently got new tires that are 255/40/17 and minor rolled my rear fenders but getting a slight rub only on my rear drivers side. Also dropped 1 inch from coils. I haven't gotten an alignment yet, is that the cause?

Thank you

You can increase your camber when you get it aligned to correct the clearance issue but you will have increased tire wear, hopefully just needs a standard alignment to correct the rubbing.

P255/40R17 tires will fit on the OE rear wheels without modifying the car -- at OE suspension height. (Just in case someone is curious.)

I've done it only once.

But my method is to try to first find the problem (in this case...a rubbing of the tyre and fender arch).

Then resolve the issue.
