Terrified in a good way.

New owner to a 538bhp supercharged S2K. The car has all supporting mods to handle this, which gives me peace of mine. The power delivery is incredible, even though it’s predictable when the power comes it’s still slightly terrifying and fun. It genuinely makes me laugh. Im showing this car some real respect and im not new to fast cars.

ive previously had a 350bhp Exige, a supercharged 250bhp VX200 and a 460bhp m140i. All were terrific fun but none drive quite like this and none are as intoxicating as this!

Both lotus built cars are significantly harder to live with, more coarse and raw, with less drive ability and comfort. But there’s an assuredness about them, the feel, the position, the delivery of power, it always responds how you want it. But they both lacked a little bit of straight line speed because of how sure footed there were.

The m140i was just a slightly ugly blunt instrument. 470lbft, 460bhp, it could overtake and take most of anything in a straight. Put it round a corner and it felt loose and scary. Good at donuts though.

This S2K feels like a perfect mixture of all 3 of these, needing a little more respect than them all too.

Enjoy! Congrats! Stay on top of - rather ahead of - your maintenance. I do oil, diff, trans annually. Coolant and brake fluid every 2-3 years.
