Sliverston vs Sebring
I think 1AP12NV has the most un-biased post. What I've noticed (myself included) is that we're all pointing out the downsides of the other side, but not our own. In moderate light the two colors are so similar, I often have difficulty distinguishing them. In bright light, the Sebring washes out and looks white. In shadows, the Silverstone can look a little grey. Look at both in all kinds of light, and you'll know immediately which you prefer.
If you live near Pasadena, another board member w/ a Sebring and I park in the same lot at work. You could see both colors side by side if you want.

I'll point out a down side to Silverstone so I don't sound completely biased:
It looks like ass (really dull) when its dirty. Silverstone has to be clean to stand out. I mean, I still get a lot of looks when its dirty, but not nearly as many as I do when the car is clean.

You are completely WRONG! Sebring looks different in all different lighting. It DOES NOT look the same in all lighting.
Also, it's NOT like every other silver. It's much brighter and almost energized. sp.
I have silverstone and am upgrading to Sebring. Silverstone just always looks dirty.

Haha people get so touchy. And by the way check your reading comprehension skills. Look for "In my opinion" before that statement, I am pretty sure you'll find it. I have seen tons of S2Ks in all colors in all lighting, and that is my *opinion*, how can I be "completely WRONG" about what my opinion is? I would think I would be the only one on this board qualified to be correct about my opinion
Anyway, have fun with your "energized" paint on the new car you're "upgrading" to
Both colors are gorgeus and have their own strengths. I am of the thinking that our cars look hot in just about any color (save for that pink on the F&F2 car
). Plus if your silvertone always looks dirty then you need to invest some time in keeping it clean
Anyway pick what you like, unless we're paying your car payments, our color choice shouldnt matter to ya. And don't get so offended peeps, just because one person likes another color more doesn't invalidate your own color choice

Cheers,
J
