The drivers compartment doesn't look to bad comparing to the rest of the car..
The driver's seat itself is both moved (see the misalignment at the roll hoop) and collapsed (see the crumpled leather at the lumbar area). The tree or pole that caused that damage probably reached the centerline of the steering wheel.
