Sluggish in low gear or RPM's

Anyone of you guys experienced some kind slowness in the lower speeds or RPM's... MY04 is what I have...Oil check good ..less than 2500 miles. It's almost like it seems a bit slow, then it picks up good once you get moving at higher speeds.

s2k4,

Are you sure it's not just the low torque? The S2000 is pretty wimpy off the line and you need to keep the revs high to go fast.

Funny, Fellas...! No, maybe it's just my imagination...or I am just getting used to my S ...it just seems a bit more sluggish than normal.

Could be your clutch/throttle technique. Go for a ride with someone else or have someone else ride with you to see what they say.

What everyone means to tell you is that the S2000's are VERY weak when it comes to low end torque. My last car was an 02 WRX and I really miss that low end torque. The car is a high revving beast meant to shine in the high rpm range. In short, keep the car at higher rpm's and never fear that when VTEC comes all your troubles are over. What you are experiencing is normal.
