Drivers convex mirror to get rid of that nasty blind spot and a counter sunk shift knob to shorten the throw and give a better feel to the knob. A nice set of full floor mats from Rick's or Muz that will cover the floor brace will keep the carpet from wearing also.

what kind of effects are you going for regarding mods?

Looks, performance, handling???

there are a myriad of cheap/simple/small mods you can do in all these categories. let us know and we can start listing them out for you

I just got the convex drivers mirror from Muz (www.prestigeautoaccessories.com) as my 1st mod. Its a very good idea when driving with the top up. I plan to buy axial short shift and ricks badges from ricks2k.com before the sale is up. read nothing but great things about the shifter.

Hmmm... simple mods... how about a team voodoo countersunk knob or a RP short throw shifter, JDM sidemarkers/clear diffusors, Rick's S badges, cat-back exhaust, X-brace. They are all simple bolt ons.

I have the same car, have had it on the track once (more to come). This is what I've done (simple):
Muz (whiteline) X-brace
Slave Cylinder Mod
K&N FIPK
Axial Flow Short Shifter
Cobalt-GT Sports Brake Pads
Motul 600 RBF Brake Fluid
Hardwire Valentine 1 Radar Detector
10" Subwoofer in trunk
New speakers (Polk) in door
New Radio/reciever/cd player
Modifry DCI
Adjust valves (as needed)
Muz Convex Driver Mirror

To Do:
Stainless Brake lines
Modifry Shift Warning Beeper
SOS Gauge Pod
Oil Pressure and Oil Temp Gauges
CG Lock for Seat Belts
Paddy Hopkirk Gas Pedal (bigger gas pedal)
Front Sway Bar (Comptech adjustable - undecided?)
Exhaust and Header (undecided, but easy)
Track Rims/Wheels (if I decide to continue to track car)

None of these are too hard, real simple to do but improve the car overall. I *think* some of this would put you in different Autox class if that was your goal. I'm considering Koni Coil-overs, but hesitant to mess with stock handling...Good Luck!
