Last night I was in VTEC and I saw some smoke in rear view mirror. Is this ok ?

I have used a 1/2 quart in 700 miles.

Yeah, our S have been known to burn LOTS of oil. I went from the H mark to the L mark on the dipstick in less than 600 miles!!!! But now it seemed to have stabled off.

 

This smoke you are talking about is excess fuel used to keep the engine cooled down, it is black smoke. Most if not all high performance cars will blow smoke out at WOT. Take a look at your rear bumper and you will see plenty of soot from the exhaust after a few hard runs.

 

Oh, and it is perfectly normal, nothing to worry about.

 

Fuel mix might be a little rich too.

 

And it looks freaking cool from behind us...especially when you're shifting quickly.
