Keep some Nicorette gum in the glovebox, there's no smoke issue then!

Why ruin the inside of the car with that aweful smell I don't get smokers, what a lame use of money while making things uncomfortable for people like me. I hate it when I'm behind some dusher smoking while I have my top down oops! I'm not supposed to tell you what you already know, my bad

The smell really doesn't linger if you go top down just once after the in-car cig smoking. If it's raining and I need one, I just row the window down and keep the cig inside. It'll only take 3 min to smoke max. Most of the water gets onto the top part of the door panel anyway. I just wipe it off with my hand real quick it's A okay.

If the interior getting water is an issue to you, ionic breeze sells a cigarette-plug version, and some Japanese ashtrays have deodorizors as well. Look up a Japanese car accessories website for if you're in So Cal, go to Super Autobacs. I wouldn't trust the deodorizers of those products though, so the ionic breeze (car version) is still needed.

after I got a new soft top it's like a waterfall when I roll my window does (even a crack) while raining.

It was never like that before though... I can't figure out why for the life of me.

but for a serious answer.
keep a towel under your passenger seat.
roll down passenger window and cover seat and door panel with towel (as much as you can).
aim air vents at open window
light up cig
blow smoke towards open window
