if you just spent all night drinking, you should NOT be behind the wheel of a car. period no ifs ands or buts about it.
Really? Is this true? Can you verify this from an independent source? Don't think i've heard this before...

well if your passenger is the one thats gonna hurl, then he/she has been drinking not necessarily the driver.

Most of the time the passengers say they don't feel it that much anyway. Have you actually had anyone complain, or is it just more of your own concern?
Agreed. I've noticed the "passenger lunge" for several years but if you ask, most of them have no idea they're doing it. It looks worse from your perspective than it actually is.

I've learned to just accept it and laugh at it. It's kind of funny looking really.

Next time you drive an automatic car with passengers, glance at them when you feel the car shift.

That would be interesting to look at.

I've been driving my S for about a week now as a daily driver. Passengers still seem to lunge. But it seems like my shifts are getting smoother as I practice more. So practice, practice, practice (just to reiterate what everyone else said).

Don't worry about them. Shift and have fun, they'll have to deal with it!
