Default Snake oil for S2000?

I'm debating getting this and of course all the literature makes it sound great. I've talked to one person (a retailer of the product) that uses it on their S. They seem to think that life won't go on without it. I'd like to do it but a few more impressions would be nice.

It's the Krank Vent Mini.

Thanks guys!

Someone just posted about this in UTH...i think. Just search Krank Vent. You'll find it. I remember the person gave it good reviews.

Snake oil!?

I just ordered a set....

J/K!

The way I understand it, is that a more constant (and higher) vacuum in the crank case will help seal the piston rings better.
That should give (maybe a little) more power but I ordered them to stop (or at least slow down) the oil usage of my MY00.
With the price of full syn engine oil overhere those vents may pay for themselfs.

Do some searching first.

Seems like someone posted a very inexpensive alternitave to these items using some off the shelf parts

Go Here

Scroll down to the Toyota Supra Turbo PCV photo. There may be other altrenatives from some of the other factory turbo cars out there as well.

There is some info on Mcmaster parts to make your own for about half the price. They aren't bling if you care about that sort of thing.

I have not heard any negative talk about the Krank vents.

Ya I think I'll give them a try, I don't think I'll save enough oil to have them pay for themselves but any hint of more reliability is the way to get me to swoon over anything.

Im very anti-snake oil products. Im also known as a JDM basher or s2ki, because IMHO, most of that stuff is expensive snake oil. Krank vents, are NOT snake oil.

I installed them on my car recently, and the difference if evident right away.

Car runs smoother. Car doesnt hesitate as often. I even installed a set on my friend's turbo RSX with a leaky turbo (which smokes up the block when idling) and it completely went away. Great product, and according to the dyno (3-5hp) for $100 bucks, it is better than most JDM parts costing 10X as much.
