Default snowboards in an S2000

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone snowboards and has managed to transport their equipment around in their S.

I just got mine and its currently the only downside to ownership I am seeing.

Stick it in sideways and turn it around inside carefully so it slides into the passenger seat. I can do this with a 156 board.
If all else fails, just put the top down and drop it in!

I have a curt hitch on mine and stick the snowboards on a bike carrier I bought off craigslist. Works great! I usually carry two boards and travel and 3 hours to and from the mountain without issue.

That sounds ideal, do you mount them sideways? It would be great to see a picture of that

I don't have a picture at the moment but they are mounted in a way that they look like a wing. I lay them flat on the two bars that come off of the bike rack that the upper tube lays on. I put the bottom one upside down then the next one right side up on top of the first. Then just strap them to the bike rack and use a bungy cord net over them just in case.

I average 85ish on the highway the whole way to the mountain without issues.

There are many options available for racks of all kinds. Just do a Google search for "s2000 snowboard rack"

No experience with a snowboard... but I have had to transported my wakeboard with bindings, my vest, tow rope and handle, and backpack in the passenger seat of my AP1.

I put everything in the snowboard bag so the board edge wont mass up the interior. Also I put the seat belt, tighten the seat belt, then pulled quickly to lock it so the snowboard is secured.

I do the aboe method for transporting. I don't know where you live but this car may not be ideal in California since the chains are required to be put on under some conditons. So I make someone else drive and just pay for the driver's lunch or pay for the gas.
