well..being young around my age and having a wife and kid, i make enough money to spend and save..estimate 1300 monthly..650 every 2 weeks..

well i have been debating everyday for the last few month about getting a ap1.
only ap1, no ap2 cause somehow im not a fan of the 8k..lol

ok..still living with my parents, pay bills. have few cash left to save and spend.
currently working on my way to become a nurse so basically 200 every 3 month for class and its gonna end soon..

so do s2ki think i can afford one after all?

really need input or else if i cant then im gonna get a 89-92 supra turbo..

 

Finish nursing first then you can buy whatever you want.

Finish up school, get a comfy job and then the car will come. The S costs relatively higher to maintain, so be warned. Tires every 10 K miles are expensive.

 

^psht, ur no driving hard enough, on my six set of tires at 51K. but yeah, wait til your out of school. keep saving up for a MY06 he he he, get the flash pro and rev to 8600 and get VSA. finis nursing school and once your in and making the money. you will be able to get one. maintenance is tough man.

 

Wife and kid and you still live @ home with your parrents? But you want to buy a sports car? What does your wife think?

Yea still living at home cause of hard family times and we have a pretty small family so yea.
And wife dont care cause she said im working hard for it so if i want i can get it but as long as no other girl rides shot gun. Lol.

Also i already have a family car so no problem on that.

Maintence is how hard on it? My 2 cousin with s2k said its easy as it gets with every other car so i dont know. Educate me.

 

Depends on what you are committed to, doesnt it? Are you going to be committed to buying a home, starting assets? If you buy a car, its always going to go down in price, and you will never stop putting money into it. I almost regret buying my s2000 a little bit now, cause I could have had a house, and had people renting it out right now at 2000 a month, paying for the full mortgage. Im only 20, and I screwed myself over with the car. Choice is yours ya know.

Depending on your area, I have seen real estate shows where you can buy a home for like 150k, thats damn cheap! I wish the real estate market crashed in Canada, its still like 400k per house on average up here. If I lived in the states I would be buy buy buy.

If you can afford it i say go for it, the maintenance is expensive and insurance depending on where you live, i pay 300 a month for mine, but i make more then enough to cover that.
