and went into Vtec range Oh man what fun this car is! Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a Valentine 1 radar detector...lol.

You can try and find a used one, but there all roughly about the same price.

Buy a Passport 8500 X50. V1 isn't all its cracked up to be.

Awww here we go! I've had both and I prefer the V1, but I haven't seen them discounted anywhere.

V1 "IS" all that it's cracked up to be. Saved me 2 tickets just this morning.

Me and a few friends did a test between a v1 pasport 8500 and passport x50. the v1 is clearly the best detector you can buy. It nabbed the cop 2 or 3 hundred yards ahead of the x 50 and 5 or 6 hundred ahead of the regular.

I passed mine yesterday. Post break in is great. I thought that the Vtec would be less dramatic in my AP2 than it was in my AP1, but it still kicks ass.
