Default So, I'd like to completely debadge my S.

Heello there.

I'd like to remove both the S2000 and Honda logos from the car. I feel they interupt the smooth flowing lines, especially the Honda badge up front.

Buuut, ya know, the Honda thingys have have holes underneath. So my question is, can I get them filled and painted without having to completely paint the entire panel. Also, how much would something like this cost?

Aaalso, what are your opinions of this? Do you think it'll look good? Ghetto? What?

I haven't seen any debadged S2000s, so I really don't know.

Thanks a bunch, honeynuts.

Why don't you put RICK'S s badge. Sylver on sylver doesn't look too bad.http://www.ricks2k.com/products/badge.html

Yeah, I was considering Rick's badge for a while, and no offense or anything, but I concluded that I really don't like the font of the S. Granted, it's the same font as the S in S2000...but ya see, I don't like that one either. It looks like a curvy river, or a maybe a logo for a corporation of some sort.

I'm doing that to my car as we speak - so i'll post pics when i'm done - for me i held out til i scratched my bumper, so now i have to repaint the whole thing anyway. I don't think you can do a good job of painting a blotch of a bumper with metalic paints - i'm pretty sure you have to paint the whole thing.

I'm doing it right now too. I'm having a bodyshop shave the honda badges off. I like the S2000 badges but the hondas had to go. It's costing me $500, and that's with a hookup the quote was $850!!!
The job consists of removing the front bumper and filling in the holes and respraying the whole thing. The trunk is a little morre complicated, cuz they have to spot weld the holes, sand it and then spray it again. And from what I understand Sebring is really hard to color match.

You can bondo the holes but I don't recommend it. Bondo is a lot easier but like Bruinlax said blotchy paint spots show up easy on metallic paint. The S2000 badges come off easy, it is just taped on. All it takes is dental floss, a good adhesive remover and lots of time and patience. Good luck
