Went plateless ever since I pulled it off the dealership. I actually requested it from the salesperson. He abliged and put the front plate bracket in the trunk. He also supplied me with the plugs n/c.

Got pulled over once one evening when a Sheriff patrol car beside me was trying to figure out what kind of car I was driving, looked in the front, slowed down, got behind me, and flipped his lights. Got lucky, he just gave me a warning!

I lived in SF and now I live in Berkeley. I've never gotten a front license plate Fix -it Ticket.

Haven't gotten a ticket or stopped for anything yet in 6 months of ownership here in Berkeley...
