My Fujitsubo is a LOT louder above 5000 rpm with the test pipe, but sounds the same under 5000rpm. It's a noticeable difference.

Please dont get me started on this topic. Corporate america is your real enemy if your stance is against pollution. I live right next to metro airport, I hardly doubt that me driving around for 100,000 miles with a testpipe is anywhere near what these airplanes put out in a single day.

And its not zero performance gain, it is dyno proven to pick up a couple ponies, and it definatly did shead some un-wanted weight.

To each his own, dont like the idea of the extra pollution, dont run a testpipe, but please dont roll your eyes at me and have the nerve to get on an airplane.
Your right. How many people fit on a standard airplane? 100-250 (I honestly have no idea) Take those people (say in CA) are going to NY. Ok the airplane pollutes some, but im willing to bet all those people would pollute a hell of a lot more if they all drove there "Test Piped" S2's from CA to NY.

And because an airplane pollutes means you can too? Can you fly as well? A plane can. Thats a great attitude. Maybe we should all just not give a shit and everybody could run test pipes. Hell im not perfect but you asked "why not?". So dont jump down my back for giving you a response.

Apples to Apples, Oranges to Oranges. A plane it completly different vehicle than a car. The cats are there for a reason. If excessively polluting the enviroment is worth the 2hp gain to you then great. Oh i almost forgot you saved 5 lbs too. Great Job!

And before this gets out of hand I have nothing against you or Testpipes. I was actuall considering one but I decided I didnt want to deal with the extra pollution my car would produce. My buddy faukengenius is getting one for his SC'ed car but its not driven everyday. I mean it all comes down to what you want. I just fell that the difference in HP and weight savings espically on a N/A car is just not worth the tradeoff. I mean is 2 HP even really measurable?

My test pipe makes a noticeable seat of the pants difference. I'll get some dyno charts up too. it's a lot more than 5lbs, too.

you will definately tell a difference at higher rpm operation, it will become much more raspier.

1. I love the smell coming out of the testpipe, its more fuel kinda smell than rotten eggs.

2.My T1R with test pipe first was kinda loud, now it quieted down a lot, even other people noticed that(after 3-4 months of having it).

kitwetzler,
I also have the Fuji exhaust. Do you feel that the test pipe was worth it? Does it sound better or worse with the test pipe? Do you have any bad smell?

Thanks,
Jerry
