Default So you got a new 2002!

Alright!!! You've taken the plunge and managed to get the first S2000's to hit the market. Please give us plenty of feedback on your experiences. It's even better if you owned a "00" or "01", keep those comparisons coming. I know that many made a big deal over the "glass" of the 02, but I am interested in knowing if it also isn't prone to grit damage or at least it's own special "cautions". Also, since some of you are so hard on the color selections of other members, and that Honda is known to check us out from time to time....Pick your own color combo. for future cars, "03" and later. For me a Teal green and saddle (tan) interior would be fine. I would settle for dark green or the Monte Carlo blue. How about you? Hey Honda are you paying attention???

Honda monitors this forum? Oh no, some of you guys are in trouble now when you go in for your warranty work. Luckily I have kept my pretty much stock in the engine bay.

hey HONDA,

i want the monte carlo blue with blue soft top and for interior black with red will do in the 2003. what do you guys think of this combo? ( i need the fellow members opinions on this combo) thanks.

chipster, the dark green with tan interior sound too luxery on the sporty S. but if you like the elegant look, go for it. personally, i like the sporty look on the S.

Are we starting a wish list? Then I like to make the SuperCharger a required option that the dealers force us to buy so that they can mark the freaking car up to kingdom come.
If you are going to pay $5K for dealer mark up then might as well add something worth while to mark up.

Honda needs to get on the ball pertaining to the bad press about dealerships reaming loyal Honda owners. It does not represent Honda in a good light. Take some lessons from Lexus, Infinity and how they treat their customers. How the marques reviews, train and communicate with their dealers. Maybe you should have made the S2000 an Acura so that we would not have to put up with some of these very deceitful use car salesman tatics of Honda Dealership. I give Honda Dealership sales a very poor rating (or needs work/revamp)

For the 02 guys, I'd really like a lot more info on the TRANNY.
