Hi,
Getting exhaust put on today at Weseloh Honda....at the same time wanted to put new rear tires on.
What they have in stock is a 225/50-16 SO2, 140 tread wear which they say is the OEM tire.
How do I know for sure? Are there any other identifiable markings?
The guy says they match up exactly to what is currently on my car and a new one on the floor....
Thanks for the help!
Barry

If your car is there, why not take one of the tires out and compare?

Otherwise, I believe the the only W-rated S-02 in 225/50/16 is the OEM one.

How much are they asking for the tire and can they get more?

The tires should have the same tread pattern, exact same contact patches, same size grooves in the tread, etc. The S-02 PP and S-02 Z-rated have similar tread patterns but wider grooves and smaller contact patches (better wet, not as good dry).

If you do a search you'll find extensive information on the tire specs. Or you can check the faq on s2ki

thanks for the responses...
i did a search (should have done that first) and then called Conner at TireRack.
The identifier is "92W load rating"...

Now confirming this is what the dealer has and getting pricing.
