Oxnard "wasn't trained".
Hardin "wasn't trained".
Thousand Oaks REFUSED flat out to do the fixes (54-55).
Tony at Weseloh in San Juan Cap did a great job. 100 miles each way is worth getting it done by one who has done many, there is a huge difference. Personally, I feel 54 (Clutch) is more gratifying than the grind.

I really like Weseloh Honda as well. They've done all the regular maintanance and installed the Supercharger, exhaust and adjustable springs to my car. Tony Ivy (service mngr) is a great guy; honest and helpful. Justin did all the work to my car and he's been great too. I'm going back next week for brake lines and euro headlights. Their pricing has been outstanding as well. I guess i'm lucky they're 10 miles away, at the most. Glad your experience was good!
Its very hard to find a good, competent dealership, let alone one that is capable of performance work.

Weseloh did my trannie and clutch. They did a Perfect Job.
Tony is terrific. They just mounted my new rears shipped from Tirerack for $30 total. They also adjusted the throttle linkage and cleaned the air filter while they were at it. That's how a service department is supposed to operate.

It's worth the drive for me as well...clutch, trannie, and now regular maintenance all done at Weseloh. By the way Barry, I saw your car when they were installing springs and the exhaust- looks great! I also think that I spotted you driving over by John Wayne airport too...

Mine's in there right now for the tranny grind, clutch disk, window motor, seat belt recall, oil change, and i'm having them install my neuspeed springs. Should be done by this week. The service there is really nice compared to Santa Ana Honda, they lost a lug on one of my wheels and replaced it with one that was a different size! Tony at Weseloh Honda caught it immdediately!

I saw a white one silver one when i took mine in on Tuesday 2/27. The white one had the license plate "Stook" and was just finished. I watched someone put the top down and take it out for a spin, maybe to test? hope i didn't get anyone in trouble. The silver one was on the lift. Do these belong to somemone here?

Hey guys...

What are all the Tranny related recalls and or fixes that Honda is resposible for...

I am getting this nasty/grinding noise when I decerate or ease my foot of the accelerator while in 2nd or 3rd gear.

Is this the clutch disk related fix.

If not any idea's...

VTECxTurbo-the white one was mine, I started this thread. The drive test was for the 1-2 grind and the clutch fix, they put a very reasonable 7 miles on the car while it was there.

S2K-You're experiencing the clutch problem, identified in TSB 54. Get it fixed, you'll be glad you did.

This post is getting good activity. What would you all think of creating a new section for "Dealers", and opening it up as a rating system for our experiences. Each thread could be for a different dealer, covering both sales and service experiences. I know there's a few I'd like to vent on.

Does it seem fair that the surveys we receive only come from a done deal, ie, where we end up buying our car? Never an opportunity to express our reasons for NOT buying from a particular dealer, skews everything to the "good".

Anyone out there able to take this thought and go with it?

Weseloh installed my new rear tires this past Tuesday. A white S2K was on the rack, and a silver/red pulled in. I didn't have a chance to talk with the Silver's owner because I went walkabout for a cup of coffee. Weseloh's great, but their coffee vending machine scares me.
