Default Soft boot cover (some call it a tonneau cover)

I want to buy a soft boot cover for a 2006 S2k. Yes, the pain in the a. cover that fits over the retracted convertible top.

Will any year cover fit the 2006? Anything to watch out for in buying a used cover? Were they greatly improved beginning in any particular year? Thanks.

Hopefully someone else can confirm this.

For the 2000/2001, the tonneau cover has 6 points that clip onto the car. With all models 2002+, the rear glass window gets in the way when folded down, so all MY02+ have only 4 points where the tonneau attaches. This also meant that all 02+ tonneau covers have only 4 points to clip onto the car.

Overall, any tonneau cover should fit your car.

according to hardtopguy, only if you remove your soft top.
