Tonneau Cover...spelled right?
I have a question, and it may sound stupid so I hope I dont get burned for this
The softtop cover or called the "tonneau cover" I don't know how to spell it, anyways is it the exact same cover for all years??? as in does having the 00-01 soft top cover fit the 02-up since those have the rear glass window? I use to have an 01 and traded it in for an 02 but have never tried using the tonneau cover until recently and could not fit it. My buddy has an 01' and it fit perfectly. Now the thing is when I traded in my car I had my 01' top cover sitting at home so I told them they could keep the cover that the 02 came with thinking they were the same. Now I am not sure they are. Am I not installing it right on the 02 model???? Any help would be greatly appreciated

They all fit every year model. Like happs22 said, the only difference is that some models have 4 of those nipple snap things on the front of the cover. You really only need to use the two outer ones so it doesn't really matter how many snaps your cover or your car has. As for the fit, if they're new or haven't been used much, they're very tight side to side and need to be streatched to fit into place. It's best on a hot day in the sun. Just snap one side in and pull and tug on the other side until you get it close enough to snap in. Also, make sure the top is as far down as possible to keep the back end from popping up.

thanks for the responses!! . I will have to try it again......it just seems like the extra "bar" looking thing on the 02-up softtops get in the way and make it a tight fit, the "bar" seems to get in the way when the soft top is down. Anyways I hope that made sense.....but I will try it again ...Thanks again
