Soft roof?

Default Soft roof?

Anybody know how much a New soft roof??? I need to change the roof and rear window for a MY00. I checked dealer they only give me the HARD TOP price.

send a PM to Hardtopguy. If you are going to get a whole new top for your my00 you might as well get an 02+ top and get a glass window.

does 02+ top fit 00 and 01?
I asked someone they said no because it's glass window.
oh hell yeah, if the 02+ top fit 00............hahaha

Yes it will fit with minor modifications. You can look at the s2ki library for info on how to do it. SOmeone said the new top is about 1700 dollars.

I think the parts are about $1,000 or less from hardtopyguy.

The problem is the labor, unless you do it yourself. My local convertible shop said that replacing the top is easily 10 hours of actual labor time, which means two days at his shop. He has done a couple and was not excited at the thought of working on another. At $50 per hour that is kind of painful. The guy I talked to said he would charge me about $1,500.00 for the whole deal, he said that he could change four Mustang tops in the time it takes to do one S2000.

Now, if you could do it yourself.....

yes I'll do it by myself, I am a mechanic ^_^,but not really professional, enough to do it.
just want to know how mucn for the part
are MY00 01 and MY02+ same price or ????
anyway thx a lot guys!
