when cleaning my beloved S2 the other day I noticed a tiny slice on the outside of the soft top, when I looked on the inside there was considerable wear caused by a burr of metal on the soft top frame/mechanism. I was gutted..
Good news Honda have agreed to replace the hood on warranty .
Any one else experience this problem , or had a roof replaced ?
I am a little concerned that it will not fit or operate the same as the original.

 

If the dealer does it, it will be fine and like new. Soft tops have been replaced before without any issues. People have also done the swap themselves and had success. I wouldn't be worried.

Some s2000 experience wear holes in the top.
