Soft top?
^^ You bought the vinyl top huh? I just noticed that... I went ahead and paid a litte extra for the "stayfast material". Supposedly, it's superior to the vinyl and should wear better. I thought the extra hundred bucks was worth it since I don't want to be changing the top every couple of years...
The whole subject of changing soft tops is new to me. My 2002 S2000 was vandalized in Cincinnati. The top was cut open to allow access into the vehicle. I see that replacement tops are available on the internet and through the dealer. My problem is that one crossmember was bent as the jerk laid on the roof getting in.
How involved is it to replace the top and the frame? Might it be best to attempt to straighten that one frame member?
Anyone else go through this experience? Comments? Suggestions?
