all us s2k owners know this and eventually it'll come up. i have a two small tears on the drivers side, which really isn't a big deal because she sleeps in a garage, but on rainy days i get drips on my head, and if i'm parked for a while i get swamp ass
my question: should i patch it or just change the whole top?
overall it's still in good shape, i guess i'm just trying to buy time until i have to do the bitch of a job of changing it

 

Since I see you have an 01, you have the plastic window top. I would just replace it with a nice glass soft top. Have a nice new good looking top with benefits.

If you are low on cash, just patch it for the time being.
