I just have one question. I have a new soft top for MY00 with the glass and i was on Modifrys sight looking at the straps needed but is there only 2 straps? I was reading somewhere that theres 2 nylon straps and 2 elastic straps. The only thing that confuses me is the number of straps...and are the modifry straps the only 2 i need.

The 2 nylon straps will connect the back crossbar of the top frame to the side of the car(where the c-pillar would be on a coupe). These straps hold the cross bar tight and in the correct position for the newer top. The 2 elastic straps would replace the existing elastic straps between the front and middle crossbars. If your old elastic straps are in good shape, you'll not need to replace them. I did the conversion over 3 years ago and didn't replace the elastic straps and haven't had any problems.
