Soft top frame burrs. Any picture tutorials?

+1 for this, replacing the straps makes it fold correctly, that's why it can go all the way down.

I read somewhere (may have been on a S2K forum) that it's better to keep the a convertible top up when the car is in storage or garaged so the top is stretched out and not folded onto itself. Over time, a constant fold could result in a weak spot leading to a tear over the long haul. This could just be urban folklore, but it seems to make sense, at least to me.
Also +1 with a small addendum, I put the roof up but I don't use the latches. I like to have the roof straight/flat but without the straight/stretched effect of it being latched.

bumping old thread , are there any other spots besides whats pointed out in the picture that needs to be sanded down to prevent top from having rips?
