Default Soft Top has a hole due to one of the bars rubbing

My soft top is getting a hole b/c of one of the bars behind the passenger seat. The thing is I have a lease. Has anyone with a lease ever had this happen to them? How does this work with having a lease?

The reason I ask is b/c the dealer told me to bring it by b/c the manager has to look at it first then the "Honda guy" needs to have a look at it also before anything is done.

yes, it should be covered. Mine was done under warrantee.

I can't believe they haven't improved this on the latest models though. I'm surprised.

Go talk to your dealer and explain that you think this should be covered. Hopefully they'll do so.

Yup it totally sucks, I'm afraid to take it to the dealer and get rejected.

What is there to reject? That's why they called it bumper to bumper warranty. Even with a S/C, there's no way they can said that you were taking off so fast, that a hole appeared on your top.

[QUOTE] The thing is I have a lease.

juan, talk to Alex, the service manager at Brahman Honda. He knows about this issue and I'm seeing him on Wednesday 9/6. He says there should be no issues with Honda covering this.
