Soft-Top hole

I have a hole in the soft-top, and I was wondering what type of fabric should I use to cover it up. I don

that is crazy it still has spacers in it. As far s the hole, i believe there is a patch kit from honda, or at least my dealer here sells a patch kit, and you can use that to patch the hole.

ouch, sorry about the soft top..I wonder how much is the patch kit? because you know the dealer loves to over charge.

several threads running on this wear hole - there is also a thread running for a DIY fix...

spacers on an '02 ????



previousl owner must have had very low level of awareness or involvement with the car... that is another Honda/Dealer/Service f*&k up & if the owner is not aware - there could be a serious handling price to pay...the car can be plain dangerous with thos spacers in there - it says so on a tag placed in the car coming out of the factory ... crazy!!

thanks...i guess im going to buy the patch kit from my local honda dealer if they carry it. I hope the price isnt jacked up...

I have the same year and developed the same wear holes. I took mine to the dealer and the did a full replacement of the top for free. I was out of warranty too.

I hate my local honda dealer...slow service, forgot to put on the oil cap, bad customer service...charging me ~$550 for 30k service.. so yeah i dont think they will replace the soft-top
