I get a lot of my supplies from these guys. They have pretty good rpices and offer free shipping if the order is over $75.

They have a lot of monthly specials too. It looks like we just missed the Lexol Vinylex special, since it ended in July.

When you say wash the top as you wash the rest of you car, do you mean shampoo it too? I always thought you only need the vinyl cleaner for it. Other than that just plain water rinse..

Yep, I use car wash soap to do the car and the top is the first thing I wash with the mitt. It is my feeling that you need to get the dirt out of the top and rinse it off well. Dirt and grit in the texture of the plastic top may contribute to its early demise (too many people reporting holes and thin spots in their tops). I even wash the wheels and tires at the end with a separate wash mitt. And after I give the exhaust tips a good rubbing with NEVR-DULL, I wash those too, when I do the wheels.
With all due respect to Simon (as he's a friend of mine), I just can't see getting too many different things to wash a car. Those car care product manufacturers make enough money as it is.

Hey guys, my S is my daily driver...should I be worried about dropping the top one or more times every day? Do you think the protectant and cleaning it will be enough, or do I need to be careful for wear beyond that when it is being dropped so frequently?

Pre-VTEC a 5. During VTEC 7.5 but you won't mind. You will look forward to it.
