Default Soft top removal

I was contemplating getting an OEM hardtop, but if I did I wouldn't want to just add the weight on, therefore I'd want to remove the softop (and possibly motors if that's what it takes to offset the weight of the hardtop) but have not found any write-up on how to do so. How hard is it to remove the soft top and motors?

It's allot of work but can be done...

Best bet is using the OEM shop manual from Honda.

What MY is your car?

02. I'm assuming the motors would be much harder than the top itself, right? Anyone have a how-to or something?

The motors and the whole frame are one unit alltogether.

In short words.

Remove the side pannels inside pluys the rear panels plus the pannels where the softtop folds too.

Then you see the screws which hold the softtop frame on each side of the car behind the doors.

Also you have many screws all around where the softtop connects to the body.

but once you remove the panels yo're gonna see.

It's pretty easy, just allot of work
