Do you have the exact TSB number?

And you mean you slit the aquarium tube open and made it surround the pegs on top that go from driver side to passenger side?

No, no, no..... I cut off (2) 3/16" pieces of tubing, and slid them over the pegs in the top, it makes the pegs fit tighter into the striker. The TSB f is 03-023.
