SoftTop Down
Hi all;
I am a newbie so forgive me if this has been asked before (I searched but did not find it).
Just got a new '07 this weekend and have been using the top down most of the time. I noticed however that it does not seem to go all the way down (when compared to other S2K pictures I see here in the forum). I see about an inch gap between the link stoppers and the top topmost/forward-most side-frame. The link stopper is the pointed piece that sticks out of the middle three-piece side-frames of the soft top. It can be seen in hardtop installation page 2 (or page 3 from http://www.cheaphondaparts.com/shop/instru...s/aii23531.pdf).
Thanks for any info guys!

i know the answer but i cant tell you because you should be top down 100% of the time. top down FTW.
J/K i dont know the anwser. i have noticed that when it is cold out like in the morning my top does not go all the way down like it is should. so i just put it back up then back down and that usual fixes it. good luck, but drop the top more.

i think its the third metal bar from the front, when droppin the top, push that towards the back of the car.... the elastic can sometimes not be strong enough and the bar doesnt get retracted, making the top not fold correctly... it also will wear holes in your top.

Another thing I noticed is that when folded, the folding doesn't seem to look even. One side's creases/folds are higher than the other side. If this is normal, please don't shoot me, this is my first convertible. ;-)
