Softtop got sliced!

Softtop just got sliced, very very angry. How much would a softtop replacement cost? And do insurance cover this?

between 600 and 800$... how bad of a slice? id patch before i bought a new one... and beat the hell out of who ever did it.

Actually nothing is stolen, maybe because it's inside my apartment
