Default Softtop leaking?

Ok so its been raining hard all day. and my cars been sitting outside...

went to get into it and the passenger seat is just soaked, completely.
so i go to pull off and a solid stream of water starts pouring out the first notch where the top folds.

the tops fairly new though?

Try applying some Shin-Etsu grease to the seal. It will plump the rubber and should help.

I tried applying Shin-Etsu grease and lots of the wind noise I was experiencing before stopped and I let an NSX buddy borrow my tube of grease and all his leaks from his targa top and wind noise also stopped. You can get it at your local Honda dealership but make sure you open the box up to check that it wasn't used previously... When I opened mine up when I got home I found that it was used and only about 90% full. I brought it back to the dealership and they basically said tough luck, should've opened it to check before you left. I was a bit annoyed but didn't really care because a single tube will last you well over a few years.

*It costs about $25 at the dealership but the prices will vary from dealer to dealer*

Shin-etsu is also good for stopping the "sticky" door seal noise you get going over bumps in other cars (like my Accord). The S2000 is way too noisy to ever notice the sound of the seals rubbing but it's still good for the seal.

It will always leak a little bit. Mine leaks up near the top front edges of the windows when I wash the car or drive in heavy rain. Just a few drops trickling down the window. I run the A/C to dehumidify the interior when it's wet out and keep things from getting too soggy.

I have this same issue. According to dealer they supposingly fixed my driver side, but still have water coming in. Also the passenger has the same issue at the A pillar and back of window. Scheduling trip to H dealer.

You may have to replace your seals.

It does seem to be a very common issues. I have the same thing. I will be picking up some shinitsu grease shortly to see if that will help.
Mine only leaks there a lot when it has been sitting in the rain and I start to drive. As soon as I get going forwards it dumps lots of water on both sides. Always funny to shock a passenger though lol.
