Well, I read the whole thread about the soft top wear spots, and I can see where my '01 has the wears spots. Has not made a hole yet, but I can tell over time these implicated spots will tear after a while. My question is, I see that people have made patches to reenforce these spots, but what type of material to use, and where to get it? Also, how to apply it to the inside of the soft top?(glue, etc) I would love to hear from anyone that has already done this! By the way, 37,000 miles= out of warranty.

you could put any fabric you want, try felt or something, might be too thick though, and you could apply it with double sticky tape, you could get what you need at home depo or any fabric store would be my guess
