I went from an '01 prelude to an '05 S2000. Still have it too. I wish the S came in electron blue. The prelude was and is great but it is amazing how much sharper the S feels, and faster too

I had a 98 sh lude, 00 integra type r, is300 5 speed, 93 rx7 r1. Out of all the cars that I have driven, I love my s2k the best. 2nd was the rx7 that car was dyno'd at 340 whp.

Anyway, im blabbing. welcome to the s2k club!

I had a lude as well before I bought my S. Had the 4ws option, such a nice car. Wish I kept it for a winter beater

I dont know if you can really compare the cars. The largest reason being FWD vs. RWD.

Still, the Prelude feels heavy compared to the S. The engine feels and acts larger, there just isnt the frantic feeling that you have in the S when you charge through gears.

The SH prelude handles great for a fwd car and is a blast to drive but it doesnt really compare to the S they are just two different experiences. The Prelude seems like more of a relaxed large two door vehicle, while the S feels like a race car from the minute you touch it.

One think the lude has over the S is the stereo. I was always very impressed by the OEM stereo in the 97+ ludes.
